Ketchum — Bringing the Dark to Light

Have you ever looked up at the night sky in wonder, and wanted to know more? Just over a year ago, Central Idaho was designated as the first Dark Sky Reserve in the United States – making our backyard an excellent location for star gazing.

Astronomy expert Matt Benjamin will “Bring the Dark to Light” just in time for the beginning of your summer adventures under the stars. Matt will delve into the depths of our dark skies and the dark side of the universe, discussing Dark Matter, Dark Energy, and Black Holes. Next time you’re outside under our night skies, you’ll have a few more answers – and probably some deeper questions, too.
