Pocatello — Scout Mountain Ultras

May 31, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 12:00 pm, repeating until June 1, 2019

The Scout Mountain Ultras are a series of races in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest outside of Pocatello that take place May 31 – June 1, 2019. Race director and professional ultrarunner Luke Nelson asserts, “These are difficult mountain races and will certainly provide plenty of adventure and challenge. The races offer the opportunity to run one of the most diverse, challenging, and beautiful trail running races in the country.” The Scout Mountain Ultras fuse conservation and trail running by encouraging runner involvement in grassroots efforts to benefit public lands. The races will take you through some of Eastern Idaho’s remarkable public lands, lands that we work hard to protect every day at ICL.

ICL is excited to be partnering with Scout Mountain Ultras again this year to celebrate the incredible places we have access to here in Idaho, and share our work with the running community.
